How to find out the debt for water?

If you need to find out or check whether there is a debt for water in Moscow, St. Petersburg or any other city in the Russian Federation, you can do this in different ways. The simplest is a personal visit to the management company or Gorvodokanal. But there are also alternative options. Let's consider all the ways to check water debt.

By personal account

There are several options for checking water debt on a personal account: via the Internet or by visiting the supplier’s office in person.

If you have not yet managed to write off your utility debts thanks to the new law , then look for ways to pay them off.

Through the Internet

Sometimes it is impossible to check the existence of debts in person. If a person is on vacation or on a long business trip, the Internet will come to the rescue. You can check your water supply debt online in one of the following ways:

  1. Go to the official website of the organization (for example, mosvodokanal.ru) providing water supply services. Typically, the service makes it possible to either check the debt or make a payment, while revealing information about the current status of the payer’s personal account.
  2. Use online banking (for example, Sberbank Online) . Bank card holders who have registered personal accounts in the online banking system can obtain the necessary information about their account status. To do this, you will need to go to the “ Payments and Transfers ” section and start generating a payment document. Typically, after entering your personal account number, the system automatically displays the amount of debt due.
  3. Through electronic money services (qiwi.com) . If you are an authorized owner of an electronic wallet (applicable to individuals and legal entities), you can obtain the necessary data. To do this, you will need to select the desired region in the payment for services section (for example, utility service - water, check debts in Simferopol). Then enter the receipt code (payer's personal account) and payment period (month and year). The user will be provided with payment data, based on which he will be able to determine where the current debt came from and pay it off (if there are funds in the e-wallet account).
  4. The online payment service Yandex.Money provides this opportunity. You must enter the receipt code into the search form ( this is the personal account number on the payment ).

  5. Through the Peney.net , you can check your debt for water in Moscow and the region according to water meter readings by entering the necessary data in the form.
    form peney.net
  6. For Moscow residents, you can view information on debts on the government services portal Mos.ru in a couple of minutes.

Important! Arrears in payment can lead to a restriction of cold water supply for debts of legal entities or individuals or a complete shutdown.

Personal appeal

  1. Find out the debt at Vodokanal . To check the arrears of payment for water by l/s, you must first copy the personal account number from the receipt or take a payment document for any period with you. The responsible employee will need to name the numbers and obtain comprehensive information: amount of debt, period, number of days of delay, deadline for repaying the debt to the water utility. In addition, the debtor can immediately receive the necessary receipt for payment and submit meter readings for hot and cold water.
  2. Find out the debt from the management company (MC) . A visit to a management company follows the same pattern, only usually the company’s office is located in close proximity to an apartment building. You can take with you paid invoices for previous periods, as well as the last unpaid receipt (if available).
  3. Find out the amount of debt for cold or hot water through banking organizations or payment terminals . Information about debts for water supply is displayed on the display of the payment terminal after entering the necessary information: personal account number, current meter readings, etc.

By the address

no water

The presence of water debts can be found out at the address of residence. This method is the most accessible and simple, since not all payers know the personal account number by heart, and you may not have a receipt with you. But everyone knows their own residential address, so it is very easy to obtain information from the chosen authority.

You can check payment for water in Vodokanal or in housing and communal services according to the standard scheme:

  1. Visit the nearest Vodokanal branch (it is advisable to first check the organization’s opening days and hours).
  2. Wait in line to be seen by an authorized employee.
  3. Voice the problem , give the address of residence and provide identification documents confirming the right to reside in a specific apartment or private house.
  4. Receive completely free of charge all information about your current debt and, if desired, a receipt for payment of the debt.

Important! If the organization has a payment acceptance point or a payment terminal is installed, you can immediately pay the debt to Vodokanal. The paid receipt must be presented to the organization’s employees so that your name and address can be removed from the list of restrictions or disconnections from the water supply.
